  • Great location - within minutes from the world famous Henry-Doorly Zoo, minutes from downtown Omaha, minutes to the I-80 freeway, less than five minute drive to Creighton University. 

  • Vehicle parking directly behind the unit out the glass sliding kitchen door. One spot is reserved for this unit and there is a visitor spot next to the reserved spot that is almost never occupied. It's basically an unwritten rule that the units in this building get two parking spots, the reserved spot and the visitor spot directly adjacent. This means that if you have 2 cars you will basically never have to fight for a parking space!

    • Most units do not have parking this close, which means means that you can get to and from your vehicles in the sweltering heat of the summer or the bitter cold of the winter in three steps.  This is very convenient when you are unloading groceries from your vehicles.

    • This unit is north facing, so it doesn't get direct sunlight in the incredibly hot summers!  The sun does hit the back of the unit enough to keep the sidewalks and cars pretty free from ice in the winters.   • The front of the unit faces the forest and Lauritzen botanical gardens (a membership to Lauritzen gardens included as Village Green resident).  We frequently see deer, turkeys, squirrels, etc.  Gives it a private front yard feel.  The front of the unit isn't facing anyone else's front or back door.

  • The unit is located just up the hill from the main large playground.  This is very convenient for those with children. But still far enough away from the playground to feel like you have your own private space.

  • Non-smoking unit (all units at Village Green are now non-smoking, but this unit has never been a smoking unit so there is no lingering smells that other units might have). 

  • Plenty of storage (including built-ins). Enough storage to literally run an online retail clothing store out of. 

  • Dumpster located at the end of our building (about 100 feet away).  Far enough away to avoid any smells at all, but close enough to run the trash out in the snow without putting on snow gear!

  • New Air Conditioning unit installed in 2015. THIS IS SIGNIFICANT. A large portion of A/C units at Village Green are very old, if not, extremely old. We're talking 25+ years old. Air conditioning units are NOT covered by the Village Green HOA
